I had to go buy more supplies a few times. Caramel and Maraschino cherries are always a good option. He kept making it for himself the whole week they visited. Ingredients: Vanilla Ice Cream Corn Flakes Cereal or Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Unsalted Butter Ground Cinnamon Toppings, optional Try whipped cream, hot fudge or chocolate topping. Once when my sister and brother in law were visiting, I made this dessert the first night - my brother in law was addicted in 3 bites. Then they go in the freezer to harden up, and I serve them either with homemade tortilla cinnamon/sugar crisps, or drizzled with more honey/cinnamon, or drizzled with chocolate! Using a large ice cream scoop (about 2/3- cup), portion 10 scoops of the ice cream and place into a 9×13 pan. Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt until well combined.

4 For the filling: In a large bowl, combine the hot water and instant espresso powder, whisking until dissolved. When I say rolling (that sounds so ladylike!) I actually mean packing the cereal layer and compressing and squishing the ice cream balls like I'm making a wicked, rock-laced snowball. Cut the crusts off the sliced bread and using about 2 slices per ice cream ball, form the bread around the ice cream using your hands to pack it like a snow. 3 Bake until the crust is dry and fragrant, 10 to 12 minutes. My go-to recipe involves freezing the ice cream balls hard first, then rolling them in a mixture (somewhat imprecise, done to taste, that's-the-way-I-roll!) of crushed Honey Bunches of Os - Almond, cinnamon & honey. I hadn't ever thought of carmelizing the corn flakes OR making it as a pan to be cut.
